The Futures of Abolition

A panel discussion in celebration of Active Intolerance: Michel Foucault, the Prisons Information Group, and the Future of Abolition, eds. Perry Zurn and Andrew Dilts (New York: Palgrave, 2015), with chapters by Hampshire faculty Stephen Dillon and Falguni Sheth. Panelists staged a conversation between Foucault’s legacy and the challenges of prison activism today. Speakers include: Perry Zurn, Visiting Assistant Professor of Applied Ethics, Steve Dillon, Assistant Professor of Critical Race and Queer Studies, Christopher Tinson, Associate Professor of African American Studies, as well as students Toni Stone and Bella Week.
