Spring Break 2015 continued with a trip to the Academic Commons in the Occidental College Library.
It’s spring break, 2015 and a small team from Hampshire flew away from the snow and mud to visit the Colket Center for Academic Excellence and the Tutt Library at Colorado College.
Just a reminder, the Airport Lounge will be closed the week of Spring Break (March 15th – March 21st) and re-open normal hours on Sunday, March 22nd.
Papercut and tapestry artist Tamar Shadur came to the library yesterday evening to conduct a workshop for Hampshire students interested in learning this ancient art form. About 15 students (and a couple of staff and faculty members) came to the Hill Urbina Room on the 3rd floor to learn how to make papercut work around the theme of the “Tree of Life.”
