Media & Tech November Gathering– Come discuss post truth

 

Please join the Media and Technology LC in the Art Gallery (ground floor of the Library) this Wednesday, November 2, from 4:00 - 5:30PM. We will continue the discussion started in our October gathering, and ask for everyone that attends to consider our LC challenge question*, and bring your ideas and questions. 

This time, the LC cohort will focus the discussion on aspects of living in a post-truth moment and will provide insight into how issues of post-truth and disinformation are addressed in their work or have played out in the lead up to the midterm elections**.

We will hear from Viveca Greene, Nathan McClain, Melissa Burch, Greg Kline, Rachel Beckwith, Carrie Evans, Shaun Trujillo, and Mary Kate Cleary.

Last, but not least, we will have pizza and seltzer to help fuel the discussion!
