Hampshire’s Expanding Video Game Collection!

Have you checked out the game collection lately? If so, you might have noticed some pretty interesting changes are happening! We’ve had a video game collection for quite a while, but over the last year, we’ve purchased more than 50 (and counting) new games for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch, along with the game consoles themselves! If you’re interested, all of these can be checked out at the InfoBar, and you can browse what’s available on the shelves right on the library’s main floor. Also, if you think you might need some extra time to beat a tricky boss, you can always let us know and we’ll happily extend your loan; we know that some games take longer to finish than others!

But that’s not all! Stay tuned for more information about library events that tie into the game collection, including gatherings for folks who are new to video games and a little nervous about where to start. Dates, times, locations, and many posters to come as we get a little further into the term.
