Bidding Adieu to Seven Members of Our Community

On Tuesday, May 14, we gathered to celebrate seven members of the Library and Knowledge Commons as they pursue exciting new opportunities. Library staff leaving include Matt Newman, Sydney Giuliano, Anne Macon, and Alana Kumbier. The KC Fellows departing include Greg McCarthy, Namrata Jacob, and Lena Abraham.

Anne is also a new member of the Hampshire alumni community, and she rang her Div Free bell on Wednesday afternoon.  Our other friends will be working at Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and on to other exciting next steps and new adventures.

We’re deeply grateful for the time they have spent with us, whether it’s been over 13 years or just one, they have all made their mark on Hampshire College.   We will miss them all, hope they come back and visit, and we wish them all the best!
