Knowledge Commons Team and Ask Us! Pilot

The library is thrilled to welcome and introduce our growing Knowledge Commons team.

By way of introduction, our Knowledge Commons Alumni Fellows, Alexis, Lauren, and Sasha will be piloting an Ask Us! desk (AKA the General Concierge service point) in front of the Magic Board next Wednesday, September 14 from 1:30 – 3:30pm. They will be greeting community members as they enter the library and offering directional and referral support.

This is an informal pilot with the goal of gaining preliminary insights into how the Hampshire community might use and react to a future service point that would act as a first point of contact, channeling users to the resources, people, and spaces they need. The pilot will also give the Fellows the opportunity to introduce themselves and their areas of expertise to Hampshire students.
