First LLC Meeting in 2014: Planning for Focus Groups & Visioning Workshop

The Library Learning Commons Steering Committee is excited for the new year, and the Learning Commons visioning we are undertaking this month.
Today we met. Here is the gist of the meeting. As always, please get in touch with the committee if you would like to know more.
- Brief introduction by JGK on the expectations of today’s meeting Discussion of plans for steering committee-led small focus groups, and participant list for 1/16 visioning workshop with Brightspot Strategy Consultants.
- Reviewing ethnographic information gathered in January via the online survey, butcher block paper in the library, interviews, and observations
- Broke into small groups to organize the qualitative data into the categories of: Space, Services, Technology, Information Resources, & Comfort
- Positive and negative information denoted by colors pink and blue
