“Meet the Library” series: Meet Suzanne!
Today we are meeting Suzanne, our Circulation Supervisor!
Suzanne (she/her) claims the wildflower meadow as her favorite place on campus: “If you were not on campus this spring, you missed a great show—the lupines were spectacular this year!” And when it comes to library tips and tricks…she probably has more than anyone else. “Besides books, we circulate some items to make your life better/easier. We circulate several types of phone and computer chargers in case you left yours plugged in at home. We circulate Kill A Watt meters that you can plug into appliances to see just how much energy they use. We also circulate a white noise machine that you can use to mask sound in a shared living space or office.”
She also has two book recommendations—“Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise” and “Tender at the Bone: Growing Up At the Table,” both by Ruth Reichl and available in our Women’s Lives Collection. When she isn’t at the library, Suzanne runs a pizza restaurant with her husband, and enjoys tending flowers in her garden, baking cakes and cookies, and relaxing with her cats Georgie and Tink.
