Let’s redesign our 2nd floor with beautiful books & art
Our library needs a space that is as beautiful, eclectic, and interesting as Hampshire is. Please join us in creating the Robert Seydel Reading Room on the 2nd floor of the Harold F. Johnson Library.
Hampshire faculty, alumni, and friends have contributed to establish Robert Seydel’s extraordinary collection in the Hampshire College library. We need several more small donations to make this project a go.

Construction is slated to start in June 2014, and the reading room will open in time for the fall semester and exhibition of Robert Seydel’s art at the Mortimer Rare Book Room at Smith College.
