Instructions for Adding Value to Your Printing Account & How to Give It Away to Friends!

With final papers due the hot question in the library this week has been “How do I add more value to my printing account?” One way is to add cash with a staff person in the Circulation Office. At any time, including when you don’t have cash on hand and when the office is closed, you may add value yourself using a credit or debit card by going to the site papercut.hampshire.edu. Log in with your Hampshire username and password and you can add $5, $10, or $20 using a credit or debit card, or a PayPal account. Once logged in to your account you will see your balance. In the left column click on Add Credit. You will then be prompted for your payment information and the amount you wish to add.
Did you know that you can transfer printing credit from your account to that of a friend in need? Again, while logged in to your Papercut account, click Tranfers. You will then be prompted to enter an amount of the transfer as well as the username of your friend. You might as well spread the love, you will not be refunded for any unused credit at the end of the semester! Whatever printing credit remains will be carried over to the fall semester if you are returning to Hampshire, at which time each student account will be revalued with a $25 credit to start the new semester.
