New Books Are Easy to Find!

Sergei Diaghilev‘s Ballets Russes Costume
Last night I was helping a patron print an assignment, and on my walk back to the desk I caught a glimpse of a bright lime green colored book on the first book shelf in the library. This shelf is reserved for new books to be displayed and checked out to any library patron.  Intrigued by the way new publishers are jazzing-up the covers of books, I picked it up and flipped through the pages. I immediately was in awe by how awesome the pictures were of embroidered costumes representing a diverse array of characters.  I was completely inspired by this new resource, Ballets Russes, The Art of Costume by Robert Bell, the Harold F. Johnson Library had to offer.

Tonight as I sit in the library spreading the word about how awesome the new book shelf is, I see that the empty spot this book was previously in has been replaced by yet another awesome book.

You can check out the new books available in the library just as you walk in the door! You never know what you might find…
