Interest in the humanities at Hampshire

Did you read today’s article in the New York Times about how interest is fading in the humanities at many universities and colleges around the country?    At Hampshire, we know how important the humanities are for feeding all of the other disciplines– often our studies are so entwined that we cannot separate out one from the other.   Research and writing are critical components for all disciplines, and we are here to help you at the Hampshire Library with all of your scholarly needs.     Today’s NYT article happens to mention a web site for annotating rap lyrics, which I have linked on my Music Libguide (under the web resources tab).   The digital humanities are indeed having an impact on the future of the humanities everywhere.
