Museum Collection Management Commons Part 2; Analyzing Trends to Prepare for the Future
The six museums involved in the Museum Collections Management Commons Project are currently looking at who maintains our museum databases and who we want to be able have a say. Studies of our databases usage are currently in progress which are helping our museums to better serve patrons by anticipating future trends. In addition, they’re going to be hosting the Museum Metadata Summit, an event for collections staff to give feedback on our processes.
