Late Night Study Break
The Hampshire College Library was able to be open extended hours during the last couple weeks of the semester, for the second semester in a row. The Library was open until 4am Sundays – Thursdays and had several students take full advantage of the later hours. The Library was able to provide some fun and relaxing activities during the late night study to help students unwind and take a break. Students were able to color pictures, write letters, get free massages and have some snacks. The snacks were a big hit as the Library provided free popcorn, coffee and tea. Students were very thankful and appreciative of these activities and snacks, as they provided not only a break for them during such a stressful time, but also an alternative means of beverages and snacks once The Bridge Cafe has closed for the evening. Overall, the Library’s late night study break was a huge success and we hope to continue this tradition.
