Next Barn Over is a 34-acre organic mixed vegetable farm in Hadley, MA with a 500-member CSA and wholesale accounts at local restaurants and grocery stores. Next Barn Over is currently hiring 2 people to join a returning five-member field crew for the 2015 season. Both positions are full-time (40-60 hrs/wk) and full season (April-December).
Applicants should have an interest in efficient farm systems; be hardworking, reliable, and self-motivated. Farm work is fun and rewarding but also very physically demanding. Applicants should have the desire to work outside even in adverse weather and be able to work early in the morning. Preference will be given to folks interested in a multiple-year commitment. Atlas Farm, an 85-acre organic vegetable farm in Deerfield, is seeking a Farmers Market Assistant for the 2015 season. The Market Assistant works two days per week on the farm and two days per week at the Copley Square Farmers Market in Boston, for a total of 40-55 hours/week. Compensation is $10 per hour, plus a season of free organic produce.
We are looking for personable applicants who are knowledgeable and passionate about organic agriculture. Experience working on vegetable farms or at farmers markets is a plus. A strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills are required. Applicants must be able to work long hours with minimal breaks, maintain a good attitude in all weather conditions, and lift 50 pounds.

Agricola Farm, a diversified livestock farm in Vermont, is seeking 2 farm assistants for the summer/fall 2015. Agricola Farm raises pigs, sheep and chickens using old Italian farming traditions merged with more modern understanding of sustainable agriculture.
