In this polemical video produced for A9 TV (date unknown) by the Harun Yahya group, an unnamed Turkish woman suggests that representations of the evolutionary development of horses is based on deceptive arrangements of fossils.

She suggests that because the charts she shows for the the evolution of the horse are “fantasy”, therefore evolution is disproven.

Evaluation:

The only Islamic views presented are that God created each individual creature, which is within the bounds of what Muslims have historically understood as acceptable, although it is not the only view among Muslims.

The ideas about evolution do not conform with majority scholarly views. Although the speaker mentions a multiplicity of “evolutionist” views, she does not name any scholars holding these views.  The material seems to be based on a linear species tree, which most scholars no longer consider a correct model.

There is insufficient historical material on which to base an evaluation.
