Embryology
This video blog (vlog), by an unnamed Christian commenter, polemically critiques the science of a different video (see our evaluation here) that discusses embryology in the Qurʾān as a form of iʿjāz. The critique here focuses on the stages of actual biology. The critique suggests that the original video distorts the Arabic presented. The video also presents a hadith not mentioned in the original video.
Evaluation:
The critic suggests that Muslims are generally deceptive, liars, etc, which is not true.
The science used in this video is generally accurate, but is meant as a refutation to the apparent description of embryological stages in the Qurʾān and a cited ḥadīth. The refutation us highly specific so as to discredit the vaguer statements such as “blood clot” mentioned in the Qurʾān, emphasizing errors made by individuals to cast the original video in the poorest scientific light possible.
There is insufficient historical material upon which to base an evaluation.
