Laurie Schecter

Laurie Schecter is an advocate for good government, diverse and equitable communities, and alternative economic models that serve to expand the common good. To this end, she has worked to establish a number of organizations including SPARC (Sparking Powerful Anti Racist Collaboration), Citizens for Ethical Politics, and CommonSource/Shareable. She is a trustee with SHIFT Foundation, which is dedicated to expanding the common good and common wealth. She lives in Hollywood, Florida and is the owner of DeSoto Inns.
