Julie Schecter

Julie Schecter, F’71, has been based in the Boston area since fleeing Florida 47 years ago. With training in Molecular Biology, she hasn’t gone near a lab in a long time, but has focused, instead, on issues of fairness and social change. She has served on the Board of a range of organizations, including MA NARAL, Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, Peaked Hill Trust, and the Center for Defense Information. She is a trustee with SHIFT Foundation, which is dedicated to expanding the common good and common wealth.
