Elí Alejo, student F’17

Elí Alejo is a queer Latinx artist and mentor who is studying Latin American Studies, Studio Art, and Public Policy at Hampshire College. They work closely with the Transformative Speaking Program as a peer mentor, Children Youth and Learning as their student events coordinator/LLC student support, Care Center as an art teacher for young mothers earning their GED, and in Ethics and the Common Good as the LLC student support. Outside of academia, Elí focuses on community building, admiring dogs on/off campus, and creating art.
