Carl is the Director of Facilities and Grounds at Hampshire College where he is responsible for college’s operational and capital projects. Carl’s initial primary role at Hampshire College was as project manager for the R.W Kern Center, from program development and designer selection through construction and occupancy. Carl is a registered Civil Engineer and has been in the construction industry for over 34 years; he’s focused much of his career on owner’s project management of educational facilities, both private and public.
