Here are some useful things to keep in mind.  Firstly, access to these Media Labs is intended for enrolled Hampshire Students, 5 College students attending Hampshire classes, or guests of either one. If you need in before regular opening hours, or the labs aren’t yet open for those hours, you can show your student I.D. to any of the following to gain entry to labs you are authorized to use. (Some labs require training).  First look to entry from the Media Event Production Coordinator (currently Taylor Ortiz) located on the First Floor or you can ask circulation desk Staff (currently Matt Spring or Nebraska Chatham). The Media Services Coordinator (currently Eliza Gomez) can also let you in.

Try to remember these things. First: We want you to be productive, our goal is to help you. Second: A lot of things in these labs are custom builds, you can’t google how to make it work and odds are against you figuring it out by looking. Staff are eager to train you and some trainings take as little as 5 minutes, but you should get trained.  Third: Don’t forget the resources that are available to you right now, online: https://sites.hampshire.edu/librarymedialabs/resources/
