Davinci resolve has dropped the new firmware 18.6 bringing some exciting new features! Previous updates included portrait mode editing for high quality tik tok and social media videos as well as a new cloud editing system that allows for cross editing between parties anywhere with adequate internet speeds. The new update includes the Pixar made codec Universal Scene Description which should be a massive boon to animators looking for cross compatibility! Along with some bug fixes and a lot of exciting new Audio interface features including bringing in multiple mono tracks and using them as a multi-channel clip. All Media lab computers have been updated to the new firmware and are ready for use!
