The R.W. Kern Center is home to a curated collection of hands-on, interdisciplinary activities to engage learners of all ages with sustainability in the built environment.

The R.W. Kern Center offers grants to Hampshire students and faculty to support work relating to the building’s systems, mission, and/or to the Living Building Challenge.

We offer both public and private tours and field trips in our building for student groups, design professionals, and members of the public.
