Faculty Course Development Grants
The R.W. Kern Center offers grants to faculty to support courses with themes or content relating to an aspect of the building’s systems, mission, and/or to the Living Building Challenge. Hampshire faculty can apply for funding of up to $1,500 to develop new courses or augment existing courses to incorporate a RWKC focus.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however, the Summer 2020 priority application deadline is Friday, June 26, 2020.
Student Research Grants
The R.W. Kern Center offers grants to students to support research or projects relating to an aspect of the building’s systems, mission, and/or to the Living Building Challenge. Hampshire students can apply for funding up to $1,500 for project-related supplies.
Grant applications for Spring 2021 are due on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to students in the order that applications are received. The final day to submit an application is Friday, February 26, 2021. We strongly encourage applicants to submit their applications as soon as they can.
