For Earth Day’s 50th anniversary, the R.W. Kern Center teamed up with NESEA to host Carbon Drawdown Now! Building to Combat the Climate Crisis. Over 240 people joined our interactive webinar to learn about embodied carbon, systems thinking, and climate justice with Jacob Deva Racusin and Ace McArleton of New Frameworks Design & Build, a worker-owned natural building cooperative located in Burlington, Vermont.

Following the webinar, Jacob and Ace graciously took the time to answer some of the questions we didn’t have time for during the live session’s Q&A. Here are their answers, which include links to many additional resources.

To keep the Earth Day momentum going, here are some actions YOU can take right now to help reduce embodied carbon emissions.
