John Averill | Project Foreman

As the Project Foreman for the R.W. Kern Center, John Averill oversaw construction, motivation, logistics, on site planning, materials deliveries, and safety for the project.  John is a master carpenter and artisan with extraordinary skills whose Wright Builders Inc. career spans twenty years, and whose accomplishments include many college and school facilities, as well as over a dozen LEED-certified projects. On site, John helped create an extraordinary spirit of innovation and collaboration among all parties, through skill and quiet leadership. The focus on health and well-being within the Living Building Challenge and materials selections is especially meaningful to John.
