Jason specializes in the design of high-performing contemporary architecture, like that of the R.W. Kern Center. As Principal-in-Charge, Jason helped craft the vision for the R.W. Kern Center, and encouraged the project team to push the bounds of what’s possible. He collaborated closely with the team, Hampshire College community, and key stakeholders to generate design ideas that would translate the goals and vision of the Living Building Challenge into architectural form. Jason speaks about sustainability and adaptive reuse at the American Institute of Architects National Convention, Preservation Massachusetts, the Boston Society of Architects’ ABX Convention, Harvard University, and Amherst College. He is the Co-Chair of the AIA Committee for Architecture Education.
