Living Building Makers

Behind every great accomplishment are stories of human creativity, connection, and dedication.

Hampshire alum Jonathan Wright captures these stories in his book Living Building Makers, about the building of the R.W. Kern Center and Hitchcock Center for the Environment, both certified Living Buildings. It’s a book about “ordinary people doing extraordinary things,” Jonathan says, a celebration of the craftspeople, builders, designers, engineers, educators, and leaders who made the buildings a reality. Funny, honest, and thoughtful, it will inspire you to pursue transformative change- to write your own story.
