The web assistant helps maintain content and systems for Hampshire’s web presence using web applications and possibly some standard web programming languages. This includes Hampshire’s public website, Intranet site, blogs, and course websites. Duties will include interaction with faculty and other users on campus in the creation and support of websites.
This position requires good knowledge of the web, browsing, using tools to create content, and the ability to learn systems quickly. Good communication and organizational skills required. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or PHP a plus. Experience with WordPress (or any content management systems), Moodle, or image editing software also a plus. This position is available for Fall and Spring terms, up to ten hours per week.
