You’re invited to an exhibition opening reception for Lucia Monge: Mientras Una Hoja Respira (While a Leaf Breathes).

On February 14th, from 5-7 PM, we will celebrate the opening of our first exhibition of 2024 with our friends, family, and neighbors—we hope that you will join us!

This free reception will be a casual event with brief remarks at 5:30 PM. Please RSVP for the opening reception to help us plan accordingly and contact people ahead of time in the event of changes.

🅿️ Visitors may park in the library parking lot at the rear of the building, accessible via South Campus Drive. Entering “Hampshire College Art Gallery” into Google Maps will guide you here!

♿️ A wheelchair-accessible entrance is located between the Library and Robert Crown Center. Our Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Harold F. Johnson Library Center.

On view from February 15 to March 22, 2024

Mientras una Hoja Respira (While a Leaf Breathes) examines both our connections and dissociations from an intricate natural world that is hiding in plain sight. Through the fusion of art and biology, artist Lucia Monge shares a living installation where surprising materials are in conversation with each other.
