Last Monday, Jason Fuller, collection manager, gave Hampshire staff a tour of the Five College Library Repository Collection (FCLRC). The FCLRC includes about 820,000 items\u2014primarily periodicals, serials, films, and books drawn from the Five College libraries and affiliate members. This collection is housed in two locations, the \u201cBunker\u201d, a former U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command Base built into the side of Mount Holyoke in Amherst, and the Five College Library Annex, located in Hatfield. It was very cool to see how items are shelved (by size, not call number!!!), and it was especially exciting to see how our 16mm film collection is stored!<\/p>\n
