Did you know that 27% of the 2017 incoming class at Hampshire College are First-Generation College Students? As part of First Week, a series of events across campus championing students who are the first in their families to attend college, we’ve put together a display of books providing advice and first-hand perspectives for thriving in college (and life!) as first-gen students. You’ll also find some books written by first-gen faculty and staff here at Hampshire!<\/p>\n

This book display is located in the current periodicals section of the Harold F. Johnson Library (near the Media Services dept. on the first floor), and will be up through Friday, April 27th. Come check it out!<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the display comes down, we will make a reading list available on the third floor of the library in the Hampshire College Career Options Resource Center<\/a>!<\/p>\n
