Johnson Library. \u00a0 The collection was started in the 1990\u2032s by students who were creating their own zines and adding zines to the collection from friends and fellow zinesters from around the US.\u00a0 In 2007, the Zine Collective, a now-defunct Hampshire College student group, began to reorganize the zine collection and moved it to the 2nd floor of the library. Between 2008-2010, the Zine Collective added hundreds of new zines to the collection and made copies of some of the zines to distribute for free at college events.<\/p>\n<p>We are a non-circulating zine library with over 800 zines, and are still adding more!\u00a0 If you\u2019re interested in donating your zine(s), please take a look at our <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.hampshire.edu\/zines\/donations\/\">Donations<\/a> page.\u00a0 For more information about zines and how to find your way around our website, check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.hampshire.edu\/zines\/faq\/\">FAQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our Serials Specialist, Anne Macon, took an interest in our zine collection, and created this wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.hampshire.edu\/zines\/\">zine blog<\/a> and orchestrated the move of the collection to its new more prominent spot.\u00a0\u00a0 Check out the blog, and then come check out the zines in their new location!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hampshire College Zine Collection just moved to the main floor of the Harold F.
