The Library is excited to welcome you back to campus with some updates to the first floor! Special thanks are due to Physical Plant and library staff for both imagining and implementing small changes with big impact.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s Talk About It\u201d kinds of collections were moved to the first floor, including PERIODICALS, NEWSPAPERS (and soon, our Zine collection<\/a>!)<\/p>\n

REFERENCE BOOKS are now located outside of the Librarian\u2019s offices<\/p>\n

NEW BOOKS and CD\u2019s are prominently displayed on lowered shelves\"IMG_1033\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The SPOKEN WORD Collection was moved next to Media Services &\u00a0 a NEW SEATING AREA was created outside of Media Services using existing library furniture<\/p>\n

An OAK COUNTER was installed across from the Info Bar, overlooking the Gallery and entry stairwell, including electric and USB ports<\/p>\n

NEW CARP\"IMG_1046\"<\/a>ET was installed on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and graphic posters were affixed to ranges indicating subject areas contained within<\/p>\n

STILL COMING:<\/p>\n

Stay tuned during the next several weeks as we plan to install a new STAFF DESK behind the Info Bar. The INFO BAR and Circulation Desk are beginning new staffing hours, and student workers, Circulation Staff, Librarians, and PARC student advisors will be available to help with any research needs. The PHOTOCOPIERS and BOOK SCANNER will be moved to the INFO BAR, creating CAF\u00c9 TABLE SEATING under the overhang And, a new SEED LENDING LIBRARY is coming soon!\"IMG_1055\"<\/a><\/p>\n
