Eric Carle Museum Student Reception
Who knew the Very Hungry Caterpillar could dance!
Once again this February, Hampshire students gathered in the Eric Carle Museum for a whimsical night of art, music, and socializing. The 9th annual Eric Carle student reception brought students from a wide variety of academic disciplines together to appreciate picture book art, enjoy a decadent display of desserts and perhaps retreat for a moment into the embrace of childhood storybook memories. The 4-piece band “Cats in the limelight” made up of Hampshire students, performed during the event with an eclectic selection of covers and originals, keeping the mood light and the crowd moving. Without question, the blue ribbon for dancing went to CLA’s own Spencer, rocking her socks off in the Very Hungry Caterpillar costume!
