I have been sick for a <\/span>while,<\/span> so I have been going t<\/span><\/span>hrough a lot of <\/span>ibuprofen<\/span> for my sore throat. After I finished the <\/span>bottle,<\/span> I threw it in the trash can in my dorm room. <\/span>T<\/span>hen I noticed the yarn scraps on my desk and realized that the ibuprofen bottle is the perfect size to store small scraps of yarn. I grabbed the bottle from my trash<\/span>.<\/span> I <\/span>wasn\u2019t<\/span> very worried about <\/span>retrieving it because I knew everything that was in there already. <\/span>Generally,<\/span> when<\/span> something has served its <\/span>purpose,<\/span> it is trash, it no longer has a use unless you give it one. For this <\/span>bottle<\/span> its main purpose was to hold medicine, when the medicine was gone it became a<\/span>n empty vessel until I decided to fill it with yarn scraps and then it had a purpose again. Things are only trash when you <\/span>can’t<\/span> imagine any more uses for them.<\/span> That is why the three Rs are so important: before something becomes <\/span>trash<\/span> it should be reduced, reused, and then recycled, that way it continues to serv<\/span>e a purpose even after the original one is complete.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
