The Leo Model Gallery is centrally located in the Film, Photography and Video building on Hampshire campus. Curated by faculty and students, the exhibitions feature internationally renowned artists working with photography. In the spring, the gallery showcases the work of Division 3 students.
On view in the Model Gallery is “Mexico at the Hour of Combat: Sabino Osuna’s Photographs of the Mexican Revolution.” These rarely exhibited photographs from the Mexican Revolution are stunning and worth seeing in person.
On Tuesday October 17th please join us for the exhibition opening as well as a panel discussion around photography, archives and Mexican history, 4 pm – 6pm.
The panel discussion will feature: Jennifer Bajorek, Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature, Margaret Cerullo, Professor of Sociology, and Alexis Salas, Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History
