Tashmoo Lecture Series welcomes Andrea Pallaoro and Orlando Tirado to screen “Hannah”

The Tashmoo Lecture Series welcomes Andrea Pallaoro who will screen and discuss his award-winning film “Hannah,” on Thursday, March 22 at 7pm in screening room 120, Liebling Center, Hampshire College. Andrea will be joined by Orlando Tirado, who co-wrote the screenplay for the film. Pallaoro and Tirado are both Hampshire alums. “Hannah,” is an intimate portrait of a woman drifting between reality and denial as she struggles to face the consequences of her husband’s imprisonment. The film premiered at the 74th Venice International Film Festival, where Charlotte Rampling, who plays the leading role in the film, was awarded the Volpi Cup for Best Actress. Pallaoro won Best Director at The Marrakech Film Festival for his first feature-length film “Medeas,” which he wrote in collaboration with Tirado. The screening will be followed by a reception.
