As a study participant described, trans* voices are often out of place at best\u00ad\u2013or worse\u2013completely discounted in academe, a betwixt place. In not fitting a particular mold, trans* academics experience a variety of adverse events including microaggressions, outright hostility, and exclusion. In finding a place for trans* academics, Erich will offer an urgent and strategic call to transforming the academy that engages our radical imagination and keeps critical hope alive.
