Haley Price was born on December 29th, 1999, in Port Arthur, Texas. Haley has a unique educational background as she was homeschooled her entire life. She is a Division I student at Hampshire College and is looking to possibly studying ancient history.
Haley interviewed Angela Peterson, who was born on January 15th, 1965, in Indianapolis, IN. Angela graduated from Butler University and was a music teacher for many years. She now owns Hupp Jewelers, a small jewelry store located in Indianapolis.
Reflection: Overall, the interview went very well. I had a little bit of trouble at first multitasking and switching between my questions and the call, but I quickly got the hang of it. There were times when I forgot to mute myself after speaking but luckily, we had no audio issues. I was certainly the nervous one out of the two of us but that’s as expected. Angela was open and seemed comfortable answering the questions in depth. Everything went smoothly and there wasn’t any awkwardness. Hearing about her experience as a small business owner during COVID was very interesting and I’m grateful that she was willing to speak with me.
