He approaches photography with an aesthetician\u2019s flair: beauty is healing. His own photographic explorations often turn toward abstraction, where elsewhere they find congress with such themes as the sublime or the spiritual. In his more recent works, the photographer\u2019s light source and godly supernatural forces are very closely linked, though in <i>Straw and Bramble<\/i>, this focus is not so apparent: abstraction takes precedence over godly creation.
