May collaborate with Karthik?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Homology \u2013 <\/strong>How much of the population exhibits similarity structurally.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Background<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Only takes structure and sequence into account, not function.<\/li>\n<li>Comes out of ULTRA in hopes of finding structurally similar individuals<\/li>\n<li>Plush replaced ULTRA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Only doing crossover on the same parts of a program<\/li>\n<li>Want to measure how homology occurs\/changes over time.<\/li>\n<li>Tom has been testing out using edit distance to measure homology (Levenshtein) only using instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Can we measure homology properly without executing the programs?\n<ul>\n<li>We want to measure fitness and homology, some changes benefits may not benefit until further generations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Should epigenetic markers influence homology?
