Students will learn the fabrication methods for building welded steel frames; be exposed to the anatomical and performance factors that frame-builders must consider; and use a frame design CAD program to create working drawings. In order to successfully complete a frame, students should expect to spend a significant amount of time in the shop outside of class. This course can be used to fulfill CEL-1 Division I requirement.
