Artist’s Statement:

“A cubist video”
I made this video because it’s unlike anything I’ve ever done. The idea stems from wanting to do an installation piece, but during production it evolved into an attempt to show every element of a scene on a single plane of 2D video. As I shot and edited the project, it turned into more of an attempt at making cubist video art, an idea that was hard to execute at times. The more I thought about the piece I was making, the more difficult it became to take the ideas I established when I started shooting and implement them in a creative but unique way in the rest of the piece.
