Global Education Office (GEO)

The Global Education Office (GEO) presents a variety of opportunities and resources to incorporate global perspectives into your Hampshire education. More than 150 students choose to study abroad in more than 30 countries each year. They pick from a variety of year, semester, and short-term programs across 6 continents, or they design their own field study experiences to best fit their academic goals. Please contact the website for more information about internship opportunities and international community placements.

The Global Education Office (GEO) at Hampshire College has a strong commitment to cultural and community immersion, and strives to provide a coherent vision of education for global citizenship. GEO offers study abroad advising and maintains an extensive collection of information on overseas educational opportunities, including study and independent research programs; volunteer and community-based learning; internships; and scholarship programs in our resource library. Hampshire students are encouraged to take advantage of the unparalleled international offerings available to them and to speak with GEO staff members about individual interests.
