Arts & Social Action

The Arts and Social Action Program is a cross-school collaboration that seeks to employ the arts to challenge and expand social theory and recognize creativity as a means for social action. Faculty connected with this program help students to craft meaningful internships in a variety of areas of the curriculum such as early childhood interventions through after school programs and various art media, including theater for young audiences, the arts and AIDS prevention, creative writing with prison populations, the development of art in public spaces etc.
